Charles Quist-Adade, PhD is an award-winning educator, author, researcher, and social justice specialist & advocate. He combines academics with community service. Dr. Quist-Adade has been with Kara-Kata Afrobeat Society Canada since its inception. He was awarded the 2004 Black Community Leadership Award by the Windsor and District Black Coalition. In 1998, he was voted the Ghanaian Man of the Year in Windsor, Ontario. In 2015, he was awarded a Ghanaian-Canadian Association Leadership Certificate. Dr. Quist-Adade assisted with setting up Kara-Kata at the initial stages and he continues to contribute his wealth of knowledge and experience.
